Advance Capital is pleased to announce the completion of the sale of 100% stake in Strela Telecom, a major telecommunication operator, that provides broadband Internet access and television services in 11 cities in Siberia, the Far East, and the Volga regions of Russia. The company is a market leader in most cities of presence, its customer base is over 170 thousand broadband subscribers. The buyer of the company is Er-Telecom Holding, which, with this transaction, has significantly strengthened its market position in broadband and pay-TV segments in the Eastern part of the country. Elbrus Capital investment fund and minority investors sold their stakes. The transaction amount is not disclosed. Advance Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor for the seller. The transaction was arranged as a structured competitive sale process among strategic investors.
