Advance Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor to GNC-Alfa shareholders during the sale of 75% −1 share of the Company. Deal value amounted to US$ 22.5 million.

GNC-Alfa operates a modern state-of-the-art FOCL covering 70% of the Republic of Armenia and spanning appr. 1,500 km. The Company network is interconnected with the major backbone networks of the region and major MMR (‘meet-me-room’) centres as well as international gateways with Iran and Armenia. The Company is the largest independent aggregator of national IP-traffic and its subsequent transit.

OJSC Rostelecom acted as the buyer in the transaction; this is the first acquisition of telecom assets outside of Russia for Rostelecom realized in line with the strategy of the company’s international expansion
